Sustainable development is a part of our DNA.

Being a technology company, BNR create innovative products which decrease human environmental impact, reduce CO2 and other emissions and promote responsible consumption.

We are committed to a growing in a sustainable way that is beneficial for our consumers, employees, suppliers and the environment.

In our strategy for sustainable development, we are guided by the recommendations of the United Nations on Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN General Assembly in September 2015 for the period until 2030.

Of the 17 goals recommended by the UN - at the moment BNR focuses on four global sustainable development goals where the company can make the most significant contribution:

Responsible consumption and production

BNR promotes responsible consumption by developing a product with has double life time, reduces the frequency of replacements and helps to lower CO2 emissions, waste and save water. The use of BNR products reduces the consumption of windshield washing fluid by 30% due to improved cleaning characteristics, which affects the reduction of harmful emissions and the reduction in the use of plastic containers.

By producing a truly economical product, we inspire our consumers for an environmentally friendly lifestyle and responsible consumption, we care about the climate and natural resources.

BNR develops innovative, 100% recyclable packaging and deliberately refuses to use combined plastics in the production of products.

Everything that we create is of high quality not only thanks to the materials, but also people, production and transport, and everywhere we look for opportunities for improvements.

In setting sustainable development goals, BNR aims to ensure the transition to responsible consumption and production, both within the company’s activities and in our business environment, which consists of suppliers, contractors, customers and families of employees.

Climate action

The sustainable development strategy of BNR is to minimize CO2 emissions in business activities, by providing employees with the opportunity to work from home, creating effective packaging for products that increase transport utilization, reducing its cost, increasing delivery speed and reducing the climate footprint. BNR prefers suppliers and contractors who contribute to maintaining the climate balance.

We strive to make rational use of natural resources and, to ensure the activities of BNR, we give preference to the use of biodegradable and recycled materials in production and business processes, including striving for a complete transition to electronic document interchange. Systematic work is underway to increase energy efficiency.

We are on the way to a gradual transition to a climate-neutral company through compensation for the effect of business activities.

Decent work and economic growth

BNR works towards building a culture of leadership, entrepreneurship and customer orientation in the company. The horizontal management structure encourages personal initiative and through a system of training, equal opportunities, fair compensation, effective motivation, maintaining a common cultural and information space contributes to the development of personnel.

The company's approach provides for the implementation of short and long-term incentive programs that assist in solving strategic problems and ensure the unity of interests of management and stakeholders.

Life below water

BNR's approach to the maintaining of aquatic ecosystems is to abandon disposable plastic utensils, the company is systematically working to deepen the sorting of garbage and carefully usage of  resources. To reduce the penetration of micro-plastic into the ocean, the company refuses to use bottled water and prefers returnable and reusable containers. We strive to produce as little waste as possible and send most of it for recycling.

An important contribution to the conservation of water ecosystems is the systematic informing of employees of the contribution that they can make to this activity at the level of their families.

The company by its activity also indirectly influences the following global goals:

Gender equality: BNR considers gender equality a fundamental human right counteracts discrimination and ensures equal rights and opportunities on a workplace.

Reduce inequalities: We are for equal rights and opportunities for everyone. BNR supports

local communities and leads systematic focus on charity work. Thus, the company distributes at least 3% of EBITA among charities supporting children in difficult situations.

Sustainable cities and communities: BNR promotes healthy living style by inspiring employees and their families and encouraging initiatives aimed at a balanced urban lifestyle.

BNR is currently developing programs to achieve its goals in sustainable development, as well as metrics and targets, relevant policies and requirements for subsequent integration into business processes.
